CANCÚN’S AIRPORT By far, the most straightforward way to get to Cancún is flying. Cancún’s international airport is one of the busiest airports in Latin-America, since it serves not only Cancún, but other resorts along what is called the Riviera Maya. Cancún’s airport served 11 million travelers from all around the world in 2007. Cancún’s airport is located some 20 km from the hotel zone in Cancún. Transportation to and from Cancún is very simple, mostly bases on taxis, shuttle and bus services. As a rough guide the cheapest fare, based on shuttles, starts from 12 USD, and that for a Taxi ride is about 20 USD.
