POSTER SESSIONSSeveral poster sessions are planned for all participants to present and discuss their recent research. These sessions are particularly lively and useful for those conference participants who share common interests and for those in the need of a general picture of the vast field of the physics and technology of ionized gases.
The approved contributed abstracts should be presented in a poster form. The dimensions of the panels are 100 cm wide x 240 cm height. Thus, we suggest that the poster template be no more than
90 cm wide and 150 cm long.
Poster presenters are asked to place their posters in the corresponding panel at least one hour before their poster session starts, and to put them down by the end of the session.
Please, see the
Contributed Abstracts section for details on the format and submission of abstracts.
ICPIG 2009 POSTER PRIZESThe International Scientific Committee of ICPIG will select the three best posters presented by PhD students. In addition to the quality of the scientific content and graphical presentation of the poster, its compliance with the related paper will be taken into account, irrespective of the topic, or whether these are predominantly experimental, computational or theoretical.
The student’s supervisor, whether attending the ICPIG or not, is encouraged to nominate her/his student for the prize. Eligible students should not be defending their PhD theses before January, 2009. The nomination letter (500-1000 words), briefly describing and evaluating the specific work should reach the chair before 15 May, 2009:
